Fender T-Bucket 300CE3TS Broken bridge replacement.

This guitar had suffered from a broken bridge and a lost saddle. It was not possible to obtain a ready-made bridge and saddle. Therefore I fashioned a replica bridge from a piece of Rosewood and a new bone compensated saddle to suit. The frets were dressed, re-crowned & polished. A thorough clean and full set-up finally had it playing like new.

The broken bridge

A little heat to warm the bridge & soften the glue then a heated spatula worked underneath pops the bridge off.

Here is my handmade rosewood replica. The saddle slot is added after the bridge is attached to the body.

The finished bridge and compensated saddle.

The finished bridge and compensated saddle - Shame about the odd bridge-pins.

All finished and sounding great!
